With suction pipes chemical products can be taken out of the package drum and barrels without any risk and danger. Besides the suction pipes with a very good cost-performance ratio of the type SL 9608, SLNS 9608 and SL2NS 9608 with a diameter of 40 mm also suction pipes of the type 9908 with a diameter of 32 mm and suction pipes with a ˝“-outlet (type SLNS 8926) are available. The suction pipes are produced of PVC and PP (polypropylene). An exception are the suction pipes SLNS 9608-600-PP and SLNS 9608-1000-PP, which are completely produced of polypropylene and norprene. This special type of suction pipe is used for very aggressive products, that destroy PVC-parts pritty fast.

All suction pipes with float switch can be installed with SAIER-metering-devices, and metering-systems or together with the low-level-signals NUG 9438. or NUG 9439 The contact-scheme of all standard-suction-pipes is "opening when falling". That means, that the contact is closed with a full package drum and a "floating" ring and that it is opened with an empty package drum and non-floating ring.

Type SL2NS 9608: Suction pipe with 2 float switches „package-drum-rest“-and „package-drum-empty“-detection. The level 2 for the „package-drum-rest“-signal is about 110 mm above the "empty"-level.

Type SLNS 9908: Suction pipe with float switch, available in standard-lengths like type 9608, however with outside diameter 32 mm.
